Stratum MP Multipoint Bridge
The Most Scalable, Highest Performing
Solution for Wireless Infrastructure
Efficient radio protocol delivers 9 Mbps actual throughput
True multipoint polling includes access priority settings
Patented RF technique allows dense multicell deployments
Military grade security protects against interception
Unique ISP privacy mode
World’s Fastest 2.4 GHz Wirefree Bridge
Connect more customers with the Stratum MP
Multipoint Bridge. Proxim’s patented media access
protocol allows Stratum MP to realize an average
Ethernet throughput speed above 9 Mbps for all
packet sizes, nearly twice the 5 Mbps average
achieved by other direct sequence solutions. Higher
throughput speeds, faster file transfers and better
network performance support more active customers
on each network segment.
Designed for Wireless Internet
Service Providers
While capable of the highest speed operation for
point-to-point applications, Stratum MP also excels for
building wireless multipoint services infrastructure.
Point-to-multipoint configuration is a snap to set up
from the web browser interface simply by choosing
whether the unit is to be a hub or client. Clients can
be given priority settings allowing you to provide
facilities with heavy traffic loads greater network access
than facilities with light loads. A unique "ISP privacy
mode" allows blocking of client-to-client bridging to
prevent customers from "seeing" each others’ network
settings within a public services network.
